What follows is a general flow of events. Expect the unexpected and prepare to be flexible.
Day 1 – Cochin Airport - Munnar
On arrival at Cochin International Airport meet our representative, and then proceed to Munnar. Breakfast in the Resort /Hotel. Check out of the hotel/resort and drive to Munnar, stopping at Cheeyappara waterfalls, which cascade over seven stairs. This is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind show! While traveling to Munnar, one may see tea estates spanning hundreds of kilometers, like a verdant carpet. The site is characterized by lush, green hills, a sparse population, and a remote location free from pollution. The majority of the territory is occupied by tea plantations. Spend the night in Munnar
Day 2 – Munnar
Breakfast in the Hotel/Resort. Visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala National Park), it is home to Nilgiri Tahr(endangered mountain goat). Visit Mattupetty, a place famous for its highly specialized dairy farm developed through the Indo-Swiss livestock project. Mattupetty Reservoir has several boating options. Then visit Echo Point for a stunning vista of the green hills. Then visit Kundala Dam, Blossom International Park, Lockhart gap and Anayirankal Dam. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day -3 – Munnar - Thekkady
Breakfast in the resort /Hotel. Checkout from the hotel /resort and start the journey to Thekkady drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional views of waterfalls and streams. On the way to Thekkady visit the beautiful Ramakkalmedu, vandenmedu, Which is one of the world’s largest cardamom auction centers, Visit spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estates after lunch. You might buy aromatic spices at the local market on your walk back to the hotel. Stay at Thekkady overnight.
Day 4 – Thekkady Sightseeing
Start your day with a visit to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can embark on a morning boat ride across Periyar Lake, offering a chance to spot elephants, deer, and various bird species. Next, explore the spice plantations, learning about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other spices. Enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the serene Kadathanadan Kalari Centre to witness an exhilarating display of Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial art form of Kerala. Follow this with a leisurely walk through the picturesque tea and coffee estates. End your day with a cultural show featuring traditional Kerala dance forms at the Mudra Cultural Centre, before heading back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day - 5 Thekkady - Kumarakom / Alappuzha
Resort/hotel breakfast. Visit Kumarakom’s lovely backwaters. Kerala Backwaters is the perfect getaway for those seeking emerald waterways, palm-lined shorelines, and lush flora. Follow that with a brief tour of the village’s natural surroundings and the “Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary,” home to local and migratory species. Overnight resort stay.
Day 6 – Cochin
Breakfast in the resort /Hotel. Check out from the Hotel/resort and proceed to Cochin. Today you may tour Cochin. See Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin, Willington Island, Chinese fishing net, etc. Overnight hotel stay
Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast, pack your bags and pledge to return to paradise. Check out and proceed on time to board your flight with sweet memories of your holiday. We await your next visit. Bon Voyage. Service ends.
