What follows is a general flow of events. Expect the unexpected and prepare to be flexible.
Day 1 – Cochin Airport
On arrival at Cochin International Airport, meet and greet by the Aura Tour And Travels representative and then transfer to Cochin, also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, go for some sightseeing overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 – Cochin – Munnar
After Breakfast, Proceed to Munnar; en route, visit Cheeyappara waterfalls where you can see water cascading down here over seven steps. This is undoubtedly a unique spectacle! On the way to Munnar, you can see green carpets of tea gardens spread over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green hills a place so difficult to describe, a deficient population too far from pollution, and most of the area covered by tea plantations. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3 – Munnar
After Breakfast, proceed to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala National Park), home to Nilgiri Tahr(endangered mountain goat). Visit Mattupetty for its highly specialized dairy farm developed through the Indo-Swiss livestock project. Visit Mattupetty Reservoir, which offers ample boating facilities. Then visit Echo Point. It provides an enchanting view of the surrounding green hills. Then, visit Kundala Dam, Blossom International Park, Lockhart Gap and Anayirankal dam. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 4 – Munnar - Thekkady
After Breakfast, proceed to Thekkady Drive through a panoramic view of the western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional Views of waterfalls and streams. On the way to Thekkady, visit the beautiful Ramakkalmedu Vandenmedu, one of the world’s largest cardamom auction centers. After lunch, visit spice plantations and on the way back to the Hotel, you can stop by the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 5 – Thekkady
After Breakfast, you can visit the sightseeing points in and around Thekkady, which includes boating in Periyar Lake in the morning. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the well-known wildlife sanctuaries in the south. The sanctuary attracts many nature lovers yearly, to view the animals in their natural habitat. Then, embark on exciting activities to live up to your trip – like soft trekking and spice shopping. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 6 – Thekkady - Kumarakom
After the Breakfast. Proceed to Kumarakom backwaters that still retain their pristine self. If you are looking for an idyllic retreat amidst emerald green waters, palm-fringed shores and lush greenery, Kerala Backwaters is your ideal destination. Afterward, briefly tour the village, explore its natural landscapes, and visit the ‘Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.’ (Famous for local and migratory birds). Overnight stay at Resort.
Day 7 – Kumarakom – Cochin
After the Breakfast, proceed to Cochin. Today, you can go sightseeing in Cochin City. Visit Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin, Willington Island, the Chinese fishing net, etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 8 – Cochin Airport
After Breakfast, pack your baggage and promise yourself to return once again to this Paradise. Check out and proceed to board your flight. We await your next visit, Bon Voyage.

Kerala’s climate is generally pleasant throughout the year, making it a great travel destination. However, the monsoon season (June to September) can bring heavy rains, so plan accordingly. During your trip, be prepared for warm and humid weather, especially in coastal areas like Kochi and Alleppey. To ensure a comfortable experience, carry light, breathable clothing, and pack insect repellent to protect against mosquitoes, particularly during the evenings and near water bodies.
